FactSet 2.0 (legacy) App Reviews

Its great when on the road. Could be faster though.

I downloaded the latest factset from the app store on my iPad and every time I try to use it, it goes directly to the background. If I try to swipe to get to it or click the button to get to it, it just goes to the background again. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but same problem. Needs to be fixed ASAP.

Huge plus for the traveling financial professional! Like the favorite feature and intraday portfolio contribution!

Now I can work even when Im on the toilet, thanks Factset!

You have to call and subscribe to use

This is a pretty decent iPad version of FactSet. No, the service isnt free and they should probably do a better job of making that clear in the app description. Aside from that criticism, I think current FactSet users will find this to be a pretty useful application for tracking portfolios in real time away from the office. Accessing news, Street estimates and research notes is also quick and easy. With that said, I dont think the user interface is as good and easy to navigate as it could be. Id also like to see richer features in terms of charting and more general functionality. But I cant really complain too much as it is a free perk for current users. I will be interested to see how it compares to the new release of the Bloomberg mobile app for iPad.

love the new news functionality, but after a few days and/or reading 20-30 broker notes, the pdfs stop rendering properly and all I see is black. un-installing and re-downloading fixes it. Im on download #6.

This app is awful. Youd be better off with free version of Bloomberg or Fox Business.

Why?

Big improvement over the old version. New update to the factset app offers a sleek, updated look with a lot more functionality. When you need to stay connected when youre on the road, the factset app is perfect.

The new update causes the application to crash when loading on iPhone 6 plus. Please fix ASAP.

New version released on 10/31 crashes continuously at startup. Tried deleting completely and reinstalling but still crashes at launch. Tried restarting iPhone, but still crashing at launch.

I updated the app for the iPhone 6 and it keeps crashing when I try to open it.

The app crashes on my iPad non-stop. I cannot do anything with the app. Fix immediately!
